A leading, nationally recognized academic medical center is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) to join its Surgical Critical Care team in Hartford, CT. This night-shift role offers the opportunity to work alongside a highly skilled, multidisciplinary team caring for complex and critically ill surgical and trauma patients in a state-of-the-art ICU environment.
Position Responsibilities
Working collaboratively with attending physicians, surgeons, and the interdisciplinary care team, the Nurse Practitioner will:

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations
  • Develop and implement medical, educational, and psychosocial treatment plans
  • Manage critically ill ICU patients in accordance with established protocols
  • Perform critical care procedures within scope of practice
  • Participate in ventilator management and resuscitation efforts
