Our radiologists & imaging specialists are board certified by the American Board of Radiology in their respective subspecialties. Our subspecialized imaging physicians, American College of Radiology certified technologists and customer-service oriented staff provide our patients with brand-new imaging technologies and innovative treatment options in a compassionate environment.

Summary of Essential Duties:
  • Functions as a physician liaison to ensure the efficient and timely performance of all daily reading room functions with continual emphasis on workflow process improvement and regulatory compliance.
  • Answering, screening and appropriately directing phone calls to ensure customers' needs are met. 
  • Triage physician phone calls to minimize delays and increase efficiency.
  • Monitor the unit's worklists and distribute urgent exams to the physicians for interpretation. 
  • Ensures sensitive information is delivered timely, reviewed by the appropriate modality physician and reports delivered to the correct referring physician. 
  • Gather, analyze and present quality improvement project data in a timely manner. 
  • Support Nuclear Medicine, Breast Center and Main Reading Room radiologists with system trouble shooting. 
  • Works closely with the section Safety Ambassador to ensure a healthy environment of care and safety compliance in the unit's reading room.
  • Lead responsibilities, such as assisting supervisor with staffing issues, problem solving, etc.

This part-time role will work in the Reading Room Saturday and Sunday 11pm - 730am graveyard shift and Thursday 5pm - 9pm second shift.

Education: 

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Associate Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis on healthcare preferred  

Experience: 

  • A minimum of 2 years of administrative experience in a fast paced and complex environment where critical thinking skills are necessary required
  • Experience in healthcare is beneficial
  • Demonstrated proficiency using a PC in a Windows environment required
