Job Overview
Join our team in "Doing the Most Good" as an Overnight Security officer. This role is essential in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our residents and staff during overnight hours. You'll be responsible for facility security, resident safety, and emergency response while supporting our rehabilitation program's mission.
Pay Rate: $13.73 per hr.
Status: Full Time
Hours: 40hrs per week
Shift: 11:00pm -7:30am
Key Responsibilities
Security Operations
• Maintain overall security inside and outside the facility
• Conduct regular rounds throughout common and dorm areas
• Monitor facility grounds and perimeters
• Maintain active presence and visibility
• Work collaboratively with Resident Manager
Safety & Emergency Response
• Observe and report unusual behaviors or potential conflicts
• Communicate emergency situations promptly to supervisors
• Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services when needed
• Document incidents, injuries, and maintenance issues
• Respond appropriately to various situations
Facility Maintenance
• Maintain front desk area cleanliness
• Perform basic cleaning duties including:
o Dusting and sweeping
o Vacuuming and mopping
o General tidiness
• Report facility maintenance needs
Documentation & Reporting
• Document unusual activities and incidents
• Report vandalism and maintenance issues
• Record medical concerns and injuries
• Maintain clear communication with supervisors
• Complete necessary paperwork and reports
Qualifications
Required Education & Experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience in rehabilitation facility preferred
• Security experience beneficial
