QQR Logistics and QQR Transport keep critical freight moving for supply chains that can't afford to stop. QQR brings disciplined execution to complex supply chains across automotive, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, aerospace, energy, and other key industries - throughout North America and across major U.S.-Canada and U.S.-Mexico cross-border lanes.
This role is with QQR Transport, an asset-based carrier that operates its own fleet, running full-truckload (FTL) freight in dry van, bulk, and open deck modalities. QQR Transport is building its dispatch and operations team in Cincinnati, Ohio and looking for experienced logistics professionals that are ready to grow their careers.
Compensation
An individual candidate's placement within a range will be based on relevant work experience, demonstrated skills, and applicable education or professional training. The total compensation range for this position is $45,000 to $65,000 including salary and performance bonus.
Role Overview
The Dispatch Night Operations Associate is a full-time, on-site role with QQR Transport working the night shift, based in the Fort Worth, Texas onsite. You will oversee night shift dispatch operations, resolve and escalate time sensitive issues to keep freight moving around the clock, and customer service execution across the company fleet. Working closely with peers and leadership, you'll ensure we deliver exceptional service while maximizing revenue, asset productivity, and customer satisfaction - providing real-time guidance, resolving service issues, and escalating operational risk before it impacts our mission-critical customers.
This role is accountable for working with drivers, improving day-to-day processes, increasing business efficiencies, and completing administrative processes - accomplished through tracking systems and close collaboration with other team members.

Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
Direct daily dispatch activities across the company fleet
Ensure efficient load planning, route optimization, and equipment utilization
Monitor and improve operational KPIs: on-time performance, loaded/empty miles, revenue per truck, detention recovery, and driver productivity
Develop and implement operational strategies that improve efficiency, profitability, and service levels.
Identify bottlenecks and proactively implement process improvements
Facilitate driver productivity, while maintaining driver retention, and satisfaction
Fleet & Driver Management
Oversee driver dispatch, scheduling, and load assignments
Monitor driver performance, utilization, and compliance
Address driver concerns and operational challenges promptly
Support retention through strong driver relationships and clear communication between drivers, dispatchers, and customers
Customer & Partner Relations
Maintain strong relationships with customers, freight brokers, and strategic partners
Ensure service commitments are consistently met or exceeded
Resolve service failures and escalations professionally and efficiently
Identify opportunities for business growth and improved customer satisfaction
Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure compliance with DOT, FMCSA, Hours-of-Service, safety regulations, and company policies
Partner with the Safety Department to minimize risk and improve CSA performance
Monitor operational procedures to maintain regulatory and operational integrity
Strategic Planning & Analytics
Analyze freight trends, lane profitability, and market opportunities
Generate operational reports and performance dashboards for leadership review
Use data-driven decision-making to improve profitability and resource allocation
Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and capacity planning
Qualifications
Required
3+ years of experience in transportation, dispatch, fleet management, or logistics operations
Subject matter expert in dry van and open deck fleet management
Strong understanding of trucking operations, dispatch workflows, and fleet management
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
Proficiency with Transportation Management Systems (TMS), ELD platforms, GPS tracking, and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
Preferred
Experience operating a TMS platform
Experience and preference to work night shift
Knowledge of freight brokerage operations and carrier management
Experience with cross-border (U.S.-Canada / U.S.-Mexico) freight
Experience driving operational growth and process improvement initiatives
Prior experience supporting demanding supply chains in automotive, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, aerospace, or energy
Associate or bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field - or equivalent practical experience
