The BB assistant manager is responsible for supporting the store manager in daily operations of the store. General tasks include but are not limited to, supervising sales associates, new hire training, communicating and helping customers and carrying out directives set out by upper management. 


Assistant Store Manager Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and train staff 
  • Interact with customers and resolve complaints or grievances, while checking with upper management what we can do for each customer situation. 
  • Monitor & update inventory to achieve 100% accuracy 
  • Ensure that daily tasks and chores are being completed by sales associates
  • Ensure that all merchandise is out on the floor and that tagging is accurate and completed in a timely manner. 
  • Communication with the team to resolve any store/customer issues. 
  • Ensure that floor standards are being met by all employees as laid out in the opening and closing procedures.
  • Assist in fulfilling online orders 
  • Assist in fulfilling transfers between stores
  • In absence of Store Manager, (while on vacation or personal leave), the assistant store manager is responsible for:
  • Bank Runs: take deposits when cash flow reaches over $300 and get change when needed
  • **Most important is the sales floor, you will be responsible for covering if someone calls out or does not show up***
  • Communication with the team to resolve any store operations/customer issues. 
  • Report any merchandise restock requests to upper management
  • Report any store supply requests to upper management for orders that need to be placed


Scheduling/Hours

  • Working 4-5 days on the sales floorÂ
