This role combines front desk responsibilities, financial auditing, security monitoring, and operational support to ensure a smooth transition between business days. The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, dependable, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced hospitality environment.Essential ResponsibilitiesGuest Services & Front Office OperationsWelcome guests in a professional and friendly manner while providing exceptional customer service.Process guest check-ins and check-outs accurately and efficiently.Handle reservations, room assignments, and guest requests.Resolve guest concerns and service issues promptly while maintaining Marriott service standards.Answer incoming calls and assist guests with hotel information, directions, and amenities.Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk environment.Night Audit & Financial ResponsibilitiesPerform all nightly audit procedures and end-of-day financial processes.Reconcile daily room revenue, cash transactions, credit card settlements, and miscellaneous charges.Verify accuracy of guest folios, room rates, taxes, and postings.Generate and distribute daily management reports.Balance cash drawers and prepare deposits in accordance with hotel procedures.Identify and report discrepancies to management.Security & SafetyConduct routine security walks throughout the hotel, including public areas, meeting spaces, parking lots, and guest corridors.Monitor surveillance systems and investigate unusual activity.Enforce hotel policies, including quiet hours and guest conduct standards.Respond appropriately to emergency situations, guest incidents, and safety concerns.Maintain detailed logs of incidents, guest interactions, and overnight activities.Operational SupportCoordinate with housekeeping, engineering, and management teams regarding overnight issues.Prepare shift reports and communicate important information to morning leadership.Assist with room status verification and occupancy audits.Support property cleanliness standards by identifying and reporting maintenance or housekeeping concerns.Complete additional administrative duties as assigned.QualificationsPrevious hotel front desk or night audit experience preferred.Experience with Marriott systems, FOSSE, FSPMS, or similar hotel management systems is a plus.Strong customer service and communication skills.Basic accounting and cash-handling experience.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer systems.Must be able to remain calm and professional in challenging situations. $18.00 - $19.00 Hourly
