Description
As a Security Officer, a typical day might include the following:
  • Greeting guests and providing them with fast, friendly service
  • Accurately checking guest identification
  • Ensuring all dress code procedures are being enforced
  • Monitoring guest consumption of alcohol and intervening when needed according to company guidelines
  • Promoting Big Night Entertainment Group in a positive and professional manner
  • Handling situations quickly, efficiently, and safely
  • Diffusing difficult situations
  • Ensuring safety of both guests and staff throughout the entire venue
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements
This job might be for you if you demonstrate the following abilities and meet the following qualifications:
  • At least 1 year previous security experience in a high-volume, upscale food and beverage environment and/or nightclub
  • Must be able to pass Big Night Entertainment Group's requirements in regards to legal background check
  • TIPS or other recognized Alcohol Certification is preferred and will be required if chosen for the position
  • You present a neat and professional appearance
  • Ability to communicate effectively and accurately with customers, the public and co-workers
  • Ability to demonstrate teamwork with other staff members
  • You have flexibility with schedule which includes availability to work nights, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
  • Proven ability to de-escalate issues
