ABOUT DOROKI

Doroki is a collaborative commerce product developed to digitize Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs') business operations. SMEs' business needs are growing quickly, and Doroki is well-positioned to meet these needs. The product is focused on increasingaffordability and inclusivity for SMEs to digitize their business operations and make and accept digital payments through a mobile device in emerging markets like Nigeria.


ABOUT THE ROLE

The Sales Executive will be responsible for driving merchant acquisition, retention, and revenue growth by onboarding SMEs, merchants, and high-value business partners onto the Doroki platform. The role requires a highly driven and relationship-oriented professional who is comfortable working in the field, engaging merchants directly, and collaborating across teams to achieve commercial objectives.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Commercial Growth & Revenue Management

  • Drive achievement of sales and revenue targets within the assigned territory.
  • Support merchant retention and growth initiatives to maximize business performance.


Merchant Acquisition & Relationship Management

  • Identify, prospect, onboard, and manage relationships with FMCG merchants, spas, supermarkets, restaurants, and other SME businesses.
  • Conduct regular field visits and sales engagements to promote Doroki's products and services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants and key stakeholders.


Client Support & Service Excellence

  • Resolve merchant issues promptly and manage client expectations effectively.
  • Negotiate agreements and collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer experience and service delivery.


Market Intelligence & Business Development

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and merchant operations to identify growth opportunities and recommend improvements.
  • Gather market intelligence and provide insights to support strategic business initiatives.


Reporting & Performance Monitoring

  • Conduct surveys, spot checks, and performance analysis on merchant activities.
  • Prepare regular reports and updates on sales performance, merchant engagement, and business activities.


Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with marketing and support teams to ensure effective branding, communication, and merchant support.
