The New Hampshire Veterans Home has a full-time, 1st shift vacancy for a Building Cleaning Worker I-II.
Proposed schedule includes:
6:00am - 2:30pm shifts
Some weekends (additional $2.00/hour)

Summary:
Building Cleaning Workers I

Building Cleaning Workers II
To serve as a team or crew lead, and/or shift point person
and to independently provide a full range of cleaning, custodial or janitorial
duties associated with the care, cleaning, and maintenance of one or multiple
state facilities, buildings, grounds, or institutions; may include assignment
to multiple units, areas, locations, or districts.
YOUR EXPERIENCE COUNTS: Each additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience and/or each additional year of approved work experience may be substituted for one year of required formal education.

1. Must have completed at least six months (full-time) or one year (part-time) of employment as a Building Cleaning Workers I
2. Must receive a satisfactory performance evaluation
3. Must be approved for promotion at the discretion of agency management to satisfy organizational/business needs
4. Must receive a recommendation for promotion to Building Cleaning Workers II by the immediate supervisor

movement, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, or handling
equipment and materials to perform cleaning duties, such as dusting, vacuuming,
stripping/buffing/waxing/polishing floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls, and
glass, and disinfecting.

Moves furniture, equipment, and resident belongings, as necessary, to
facilitate resident moves, new admissions, and discharges and/or floor care, to

may include complex machinery such as disinfectant robot, floor care equipment,
