Job description

AB Staffing is looking for an experienced Speech Language Pathologist that is available for the 25/26 school year.
Salary:
  • Up to $2,250 per week.

Requirements:
  • Masterโ€™s degree in Speech and Language Pathology or valid ASHA certification (CCC-SLP).
  • Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with Teacher Consultant Endorsement.
  • AI (Autism Impairment) and EMI (Emotional Impairment) endorsements preferred.
  • Experience working with school-age children preferred.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Job Description:
  • Caseload and details of position/classroom type will differ based on school location.
  • Contract through the school year โ€“ 37.5 to 40 hours per week.
  • Contract follows the academic district calendar.

Position Overview: Provide speech and language therapy services to help students improve communication and learning skills.
Essential Functions:
  • Identify students needing specialized speech or language services and provide tailored solutions for academic success.
  • Conduct individual and group therapy using curriculum-based materials and provide progress reports.
  • Supervise support staff, consult with educators, and provide alternative communication systems.
  • Create engaging learning environments and promote social, physical, and intellectual growth.
  • Explore individual learning needs, develop personalized solutions, and implement curriculum goals.
  • Model mature behavior, uphold values, and encourage character development.
