Description
We are looking for an L4 TS/SCI-cleared Policy Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will provide expertise, guidance, consultation, facilitation, and thought leadership to the client and/or project team based on specialized in-depth expertise in such fields as: engineering and technology; policy and administration; planning; analysis; communications; business; and management.
Responsibilities:
  • Providing expertise, guidance, consultation, facilitation, and thought leadership to the client and/or project team based on specialized in-depth expertise in such fields as: engineering and technology; policy and administration; planning; analysis; communications; business; and management.
  • Assessing and facilitating discoverability and accessibility of commercial GEOINT data and services.
  • Informing integration of new data sets across multiple classified and unclassified domains to both US Government and Allied systems. Coordinates with the NSG to integrate solutions into the GEOINT Enterprise Architecture (GEA).
  • Ensuring that quality is an integral part of the development, design and delivery of commercial GEOINT products or services.
  • Monitoring products and services throughout the life cycle; validates/verifies adherence to specified requirements through test and measurement activities; manages/leads quality assurance activities.
  • Working closely with assigned staff, senior specialists or task leads. May direct the activities of specialists or other staff as necessary on activities related to the specified field or discipline.
  • Preparing and delivering reports and briefings for senior leadership across the IC and Agency, as well as development and communication of associated messages and communication/outreach strategies.
  • Under the guidance of Government, acting as the interface between NGA and NSG customers and source providers.
  • Supporting development and enforcement of national, IC, and NGA policies and regulations governing the licensing and operation of commercially owned remote sensing systems.
  • Coordinating NGA and IC positions on commercial remote sensing system license requests.
  • Providing secretariat support to the NGA-led Commercial Remote Sensing Working Group, consisting of members from across the IC.
  • Providing administrative support to the chair of the IC Commercial Space Council.
  • Reviewing and revising management and governance policies, instructions, standards, and best practices.
  • Developing documentation and guidance to support commercial remote sensing system license management processes.
  • Facilitating cross-agency and cross-office engagements, through regular meetings of working groups at senior and action officer levels, and through ad hoc engagements as needed.
  • Identifying and supporting business processes improvements.
  • Preparing and delivering reports and briefings for senior leadership across the IC and Agency, as well as development and communication of associated messages and communication/outreach strategies.
  • Producing written reports, presentations or other artifacts as required by the Government for each task assigned and supporting briefings and meetings to discuss recommendations.
  • Building productive relationships with senior leaders, the general workforce, and other collaborating partners.
  • Provides customer service, representational and written communication skills.

Required Skills and Experience:
  • At least 11-14 years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated experience in Commercial GEOINT, including validating /verifying adherence to specified policies and regulations.
  • Demonstrated experience routinely interacting with senior-level personnel, including key component directors.
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with teams of subject matter experts, sharing knowledge with others, and working as a team member.
  • Demonstrated experience advising and assisting with strategic planning and policy development, with a focus on providing expert strategic-level assistance.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience within a related field

Security Clearance Requirement:
  • Active TS/SCI, must be willing to take and pass a CI Polygraph
Salary Range: $84,000+ based on ability to meet and exceed stated requirements
