Licensing Associate (External Agency Staff)

New York

The Licensing Associate plays a pivotal role in managing and overseeing the licensing operations for licensees within the NFL. This position involves handling all aspects of licensee onboarding, management, and coordination of premium activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively across various teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee a portfolio of 50+ premium Licensees and serve as the primary point of contact
  • Review and provide feedback on licensee artwork submissions to ensure compliance with brand standards
  • Work with Consumer Products team to negotiate, draft and execute new licenses and renewal contracts
  • Liaise with NFL Clubs and sponsors regarding promotional product inquiries, providing guidance and conducting presentations as necessary
  • Develop and distribute updated NFL Premium Guidelines and Licensee Lists to Licensees, NFL Clubs, and sponsor contacts
  • Create and manage giveaway procedures for NFL tentpole events (Super Bowl, Pro Bowl Games, Draft, Combine, etc.)
  • Facilitate retailer classification within royalty reporting system and communicate with licensees to ensure timely submissions
  • Assist with additional projects within the Consumer Products department as needed
