Job description

The NFL Media group is seeking a proactive and versatile digital show producer who's passionate about advanced analytics (Next Gen Stats) and has elite NFL knowledge. This position will work collaboratively with Showrunner, NFL Pro talent, editors and other key stakeholders to create engaging NFL Pro-focused digital shows and VOD content for distribution across the NFL's digital content ecosystem.
Responsibilities
  • Produce weekly NFL Pro-focused show(s) and accompanying VOD content including
    • Pre-production: creative & stats research, Footage research, production meetings with NFL Pro talent, Ideate compelling storylines & topics based on advanced stats & news, digital production workflow testing and scheduling
    • Produce show creative & assist with technical production workflows in both live, and live-to-tape environments
    • Post-Production: Collaborate with editors to deliver best-in-class digital show creative leveraging talent, NFL IP, graphics, data visualization effectively & efficiently
  • Manage timelines for weekly show deliverables
  • Create show outlines, rundowns and scripts
  • Produce NFL Pro talent to ensure they are supported with adequate schedules, research data, and other tools to create the best content possible
  • Proactively Analyze performance insights and KPI data to optimize and elevate shows
  • Proactively research, test and implement innovative digital show production techniques including graphical data visualization, workflow efficiency improvement, etc.
  • Assist in long range planning and growth of NFL Pro show and VOD content franchise
  • Coordinate internal stakeholders to ensure quality control and efficient delivery of show and VOD content across various NFL digital platforms including the NFL FAST Channel, NFL YouTube Channel, NFL O&O and more.

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of digital show production experience
  • Expert knowledge of digital sports content programming and production
  • Avid consumer of digital sports shows, content and production trends
  • Expert NFL knowledge including passion for analyzing advanced NFL stats (Next Gen Stats)
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of Adobe creative suite, primarily Adobe Premiere
  • Experience analyzing performance data and implementing key learnings for optimization
  • Understanding of digital first content distribution, programming and platforms as well as emerging formats and platforms
