Job Summary:
Diversity Nexus is a company seeking a Java Engineer to execute standard software solutions and contribute to the development of secure, stable application systems. The role involves writing high-quality code, designing and troubleshooting software, and applying technical troubleshooting skills to solve complex problems.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Executes standard software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting
โ€ข Writes secure and high-quality code using the syntax of at least one programming language with limited guidance
โ€ข Designs, develops, codes, and troubleshoots with consideration of upstream and downstream systems and technical implications
โ€ข Applies knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain to improve the value realized by automation
โ€ข Applies technical troubleshooting to break down solutions and solve technical problems of basic complexity
โ€ข Gathers, analyzes, and draws conclusions from large, diverse data sets to identify problems and contribute to decision-making in service of secure, stable application development
โ€ข Learns and applies system processes, methodologies, and skills for the development of secure, stable code and systems
โ€ข Adds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
โ€ข Hands-on experience on core Java, Spring and REST services
โ€ข Strong Java, J2EE and Micro services development experience
โ€ข Strong experience in RDBMS(Oracle)
โ€ข Strong technical development experience on effectively writing code, code reviews, best practices code refactoring
โ€ข Hands-on knowledge on cloud Technology
โ€ข Containers and Kafka or any streaming technology
โ€ข Experience with various source control tools like GIT
โ€ข Good understanding of Jenkins CI/CD, Maven/Gradle
