Job Description:

The Data Analyst II analyzes business, operational, and performance data to identify trends and support decision-making. This role partners with stakeholders to gather data requirements, develop KPIs, and produce reports and dashboards that provide insight into business performance. The Data Analyst II translates data into clear, accurate reporting and supports process improvement efforts through data analysis.
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs, gather data requirements, and support the development of KPIs, dashboards, and reporting solutions.
  • Perform data analysis across multiple data sources to identify trends, patterns, and variances in business performance.
  • Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, gaps, and root causes, and provide insights to support decision-making.
  • Support the development and maintenance of performance metrics and reporting frameworks used to track business objectives and operational performance.
  • Develop and deliver reports, dashboards, visualizations, and presentations that communicate data insights to stakeholders.
  • Monitor data quality, identify inconsistencies, and assist in resolving data issues to ensure reliable reporting.
  • Support new initiatives, products, or processes by gathering data requirements and assisting in performance tracking.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvement through data analysis.
  • Document data definitions, reporting processes, and standard procedures to support consistency and accuracy.
  • Perform other duties that support the overall objective of the position.
Education Required:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
  • Or, any combination of education and experience which would provide the required qualifications for the position.
Experience Required:
  • 2+ years of experience in data analytics, business analytics, data management, business intelligence, or related role.
  • Experience developing reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to support business or operational needs.
  • Experience analyzing data from multiple systems or sources to identify trends, patterns, and performance insights.
  • Experience using reporting and business intelligence tools such as Excel, SQL Server Reporting Services, Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Salesforce, SAP, or similar tools.
  • Experience gathering requirements, supporting stakeholder requests, and communicating data insights.
  • Healthcare IT, SaaS, client success, professional services, implementation, product operations, or medical records software experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Knowledge of:Data analytics, business intelligence, data visualization, reporting methodology, and KPI tracking. Data warehousing concepts, data structures, data definitions, and data quality practices. Business systems and reporting tools such as Salesforce, SAP, Excel, SQL Server, Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar platforms. Basic quantitative analysis, trend analysis, and root cause identification techniques. Business operations and process workflows.
  • Skill in:Analyzing data and identifying trends, patterns, and performance insights. Creating reports, dashboards, and visualizations. Communicating data findings clearly to stakeholders. Gathering and documenting business and data requirements.
  • Ability to:Perform data analysis and translate findings into clear, actionable insights. Support the development of KPIs, metrics, and reporting solutions. Work with stakeholders to understand data needs and reporting requirements. Maintain accuracy and integrity of data and reporting outputs. Collaborate effectively with technical and business teams. Establish and maintain effective working relationships. Manage multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
