The Senior Solution Architect designs integrated technical solutions supporting digital modernization initiatives across CDAO programs. Directly supports CDAO stakeholders while ensuring quality deliverables.
Responsibilities
  • Design enterprise-level technology solutions supporting AI, data, and mission systems.
  • Develop system architectures integrating cloud services, analytics platforms, and enterprise applications.
  • Support modernization and migration initiatives across legacy and modern IT environments.
  • Conduct architecture reviews and provide technical recommendations.
  • Collaborate with program leadership and technical teams to deliver scalable solutions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in solution architecture or systems architecture.
  • Experience designing enterprise IT solutions supporting federal programs.
  • Active Secret security clearance required (or higher).

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting DoD, CDAO, Joint Staff, or Combatant Command digital modernization, AI, data analytics, or enterprise technology initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and implementing cloud-native and hybrid architectures leveraging AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, microservices, and API-driven integrations.
  • Experience leading architecture efforts for large-scale system modernization, application migration, and enterprise platform integration within federal environments.
  • Professional certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, TOGAF, or equivalent.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Ability to work on-site 5 days a week
  • Ability to work independently and yet be effective within a team setting
  • Must be capable of managing multiple efforts with time-related constraints in a fast-paced contracting environment
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups and individuals
  • Friendly presence, helpful attitude, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with others.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office applications
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications, and experience working in a home office setting, as well as the ability to train end users on frequently asked technical issues.
  • Ability to provide technical assistance and support over the phone; good phone skills, professional demeanor, and previous customer service experience strongly desired.
  • Good problem-solving skills; ability to visualize a problem/situation and think abstractly to solve it
