Markon is seeking a Front End Engineer to support the Fort Meade customer in the design and development of responsive, high-performance web applications. This role will work closely with backend developers and senior front-end engineers to deliver scalable, maintainable, and user-focused solutions. Responsibilities * Develop responsive, high-performance web applications using React and Next.js
* Implement server-side rendering, static site generation, and dynamic routing with Next.js
* Collaborate with backend developers to deliver cohesive, scalable solutions
* Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and SEO
* Integrate RESTful APIs into front-end applications
* Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
* Participate in code reviews and contribute to front-end architecture decisions with senior front-end engineers Qualifications Required Qualifications * Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph with this Customer. * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
* 14+ years of software development experience
* Strong experience with React and Next.js
* Experience with server-side rendering, static site generation, and dynamic routing
* Experience integrating RESTful APIs
* Strong understanding of front-end performance optimization, scalability, and SEO best practices
* Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
