Job description

Overview

QXO is a leading distributor and installer of building products serving an $800 billion market. The company's mission is to modernize the building products industry through advanced technology and a best-in-class customer experience. QXO is North America's largest distributor and installer of insulation, the second-largest distributor of roofing products, the second-largest publicly traded distributor of lumber and building materials, and the largest distributor of waterproofing products. What you will do:
  • Accurately pick, stage, and prepare orders for delivery.
  • Safely load, unload, and move doors, windows, trim, and specialty millwork throughout the warehouse.
  • Ensure products are stored properly to prevent damage.
  • Maintain organized and clean warehouse aisles, racks, and staging areas.
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment in a safe and compliant manner.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and participate in ongoing safety training.
  • Provide excellent service to customers in the warehouse.
  • Communicate effectively with coworkers to coordinate workflow and resolve issues.
  • Other duties as assigned
What you will bring:
  • Previous warehouse, millwork, construction, or lumberyard experience a plus but not required.
  • Ability to safely handle large, bulky, or heavy materials (greater than 50lbs), and perform the physical requirements of the job including frequent lifting, bending, walking, and material handling.
  • Forklift experience or certification preferred (company can train).
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Simple math skills.
  • Working in a warehouse environment in various weather conditions.
