Opelika-Auburn News (OANow.com) in Alabama has an opening for a full-time reporter.  This position, which involves a mix of beat reporting and general assignment, is responsible for both reactive stories and enterprising pieces, along with accompanying photos, videos and social media components.
Curiosity, determination, source-building skills and an ability to work independently in the field are important.  A bachelor's degree with one to two years of related experience is preferred, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
