Pediatric opening in Indiana
Located in Warsaw, IN
Full-Time & Permanent
Seeking a BE/BC Pediatrician to join hospital.
- The candidate will join a highly regarded pediatrician who is eager to welcome a new partner and one PRN Family Nurse Practitioner
- Pediatric Hospitalist/PICU and Neonatologists/NICU are readily available for consultations
- Physician will share equal call responsibilities with existing pediatrician
- Seeking a physician willing to do both inpatient and outpatient (rounding and attending difficult situations to take over upon birth)
- Primarily outpatient(95%) with minimal inpatient responsibilities
- 20-25 patients per day in a collegial, community-trusted practice
- Recent graduates welcome with appropriate training
Hospital Duties:
- Healthy newborn visits and well-child exams
- Sick/acute visits, chronic follow-ups, and post-discharge care from network NICU
- Childhood immunizations, vision, and hearing screenings
- Manage common, non-critical neonatal conditions (e.g., jaundice, hypoglycemia, TTN, rule-out sepsis) in Level 1 nursery
- Routine acute pediatric admissions (outside newborn period)
- Attend deliveries when requested by OB for anticipated concerns
- Participate in newborn resuscitation and stabilization prior to transfer, if needed
