Job description

Responsibilities

  • Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, RN, LPN, you will play a vital role in the care of patients by performing basic nursing care and support tasks on assigned units.
  • Provide patient care such as: ambulation, bathing, toileting, obtaining vital signs, all while maintaining a safe environment.
  • Assist in the transportation and perioperative preparation of newborn, pediatric, adolescents and geriatric patients.
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills to accurately convey patient information to RN, LPN and other members of the team in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrate basic computer skills to accurately record vital patient information.

Experience: Hospital experience-Preferred

License/Certification/Education:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association)-Required
  • CNA (Certified Nurse Assistant)-Required
  • High School or Equivalent-Preferred
