Purpose of Your Role

Weโ€™re looking for a New Ventures Manager to drive growth by identifying, evaluating, and launching opportunities that expand our value in factoring, fuel cards, and adjacent services. This role blends strategy, partnerships, and innovationโ€”giving you the chance to help shape the future of Apex Capital and influence the direction of a 30-year-old company as we chart the next 30 years.

Some onsite work will be required, so candidates should be local to the greater Dallas/Fort Worth area or open to relocation. Candidates should be open to for up to 15% travel.

As a New Ventures Manager, youโ€™ll work closely with the Head of Strategy and partner directly with senior executives, including the President and CEO. Youโ€™ll lead market research, build business cases, and develop strategic partnerships that drive long-term impact. This is intellectually engaging work in a fast-paced environment, where youโ€™ll gain C-suite exposure, rapid professional development, and the opportunity to build new ventures from the ground up.

What Youโ€™ll Be Doing
  • Research markets, industries, and customers to uncover new opportunities.
  • Evaluate and pursue new products, services, acquisitions, and alliances.
  • Build business cases and financial models to support strategic investments.
  • Source, negotiate, and execute high-value partnerships.
  • Collaborate across teams to integrate new initiatives into the business.
  • Represent the company at industry events and forums.
What Weโ€™re Looking For
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years in transportation and logistics.
  • Proven success in business development, partnerships, or business strategy.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong analytical, financial modeling, and communication skills.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities while influencing executive decisionโ€‘making.
