Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is seeking a Senior New Product Introduction Materials Program Manager to drive materials planning, manufacturing coordination, and supply execution supporting OCI's global cloud infrastructure and data center deployment operations.
This role is responsible for ensuring material availability, manufacturing readiness, inventory optimization, and operational alignment across contract manufacturers, suppliers, and internal cross-functional teams. The NPI Materials Program Manager will work closely with Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement, Engineering, and Data Center Operations to support OCI's rapidly growing infrastructure footprint.
The ideal candidate brings strong experience in materials management, manufacturing operations, inventory planning, and supplier management within high-tech hardware, cloud infrastructure, or large-scale manufacturing environments.
Responsibilities
Materials Planning & Execution
  • Collaborate with Demand Planning and Supply Planning teams to align material availability with short-term and long-term forecast requirements.

  • Analyze forecast demand, supply risks, and material constraints to support execution and continuity of supply.

  • Partner with contract manufacturers to manage material readiness, lead times, and production schedules.

  • Ensure timely delivery of rack and infrastructure products to support OCI deployment requirements.

  • Validate clean-to-build (CTB) assessments to confirm material availability for planned production.

  • Identify material shortages and gaps at contract manufacturers and drive escalation and resolution activities.

  • Support inventory planning strategies that balance supply continuity, inventory optimization, and operational efficiency.

  • Help manage excess and obsolete inventory mitigation activities in partnership with planning and operations teams.

Contract Manufacturer & Supplier Management
  • Manage operational relationships with Contract Manufacturers (CMs), ODMs, suppliers, and manufacturing partners.

  • Drive supplier and manufacturing commit alignment at weekly, monthly, and quarterly intervals.

  • Ensure manufacturing partners have sufficient materials and capacity to support demand plans.

  • Monitor inventory control practices and material management processes at contract manufacturer and warehouse locations.

  • Work with suppliers and manufacturers on stocking and buffering strategies to improve supply continuity and responsiveness.

  • Support KPI reviews and operational performance management with manufacturing partners.

Manufacturing & Operational Coordination
  • Partner with Manufacturing and Operations teams to ensure capacity planning supports forecasted demand.

  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities to ensure materials are qualified and production-ready.

  • Coordinate across Engineering, Product Operations, Commodity Management, and Deployment teams to support operational readiness.

  • Help drive process improvements that improve material flow, execution efficiency, and operational scalability.

Risk Management & Process Improvement
  • Identify supply chain risks, material shortages, and operational bottlenecks that may impact production or deployment schedules.

  • Support mitigation planning including alternate sourcing, supplier recovery actions, and inventory buffering strategies.

  • Track and report key operational metrics related to inventory health, supplier performance, material availability, and manufacturing execution.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory accuracy, planning efficiency, and supply chain execution.

Leadership & Collaboration
  • Lead materials program teams and mentor junior supply chain team members in a fast-paced operational environment.

  • Build strong working relationships across Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, Procurement, and Deployment organizations.

  • Communicate operational risks, supply challenges, and mitigation plans to leadership teams.

  • Contribute to long-term supply chain planning and operational scaling initiatives supporting OCI growth.

Required Qualifications
Experience
  • 6-10 years of experience in materials management, supply chain operations, manufacturing planning, or related functions.

  • Experience working with contract manufacturers, suppliers, and global manufacturing operations.

  • Strong background in inventory management, production scheduling, materials planning, and supply chain execution.

  • Experience supporting hardware manufacturing, cloud infrastructure, networking, server, or high-tech operations environments preferred.

  • Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) or manufacturing ramp activities preferred.

Technical & Functional Skills
  • Strong understanding of materials management, manufacturing operations, inventory control, and supply chain planning processes.

  • Experience with ERP, MRP, or supply chain management systems.

  • Analytical mindset with experience developing and managing operational KPIs and performance metrics.

  • Knowledge of manufacturing capacity planning, supplier management, and logistics operations.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Leadership & Communication
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.

  • Effective communicator with the ability to drive alignment across cross-functional teams.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $102,300 to $209,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
