About the Job
Innovative Labs is looking for a Product Development Technician to join our R&D team. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their food science, chemistry, or nutrition career who wants hands-on lab experience supporting new product development, working directly alongside our Product Development Scientists on everything from bench-top prototypes to pilot-scale trials.
What You'll Do
- Assist Product Development Scientists in preparing bench-top prototypes following defined protocols or specifications
- Document detailed work and take accurate measurements of samples (weighing, mixing, pH/Brix checks, sensory prep)
- Maintain laboratory notebooks, sample logs, and ingredient inventory with accuracy and timeliness
- Assist in preparing Nutrition/Supplement Facts panels under the supervision of a Product Development Scientist
- Maintain an organized and clean work area
- Work as a team with other Product Development Technicians and Scientists
- Perform additional duties as needed to support the goals of the department
What Makes You a Great Fit
