Job description

Overview
**$10,000 Sign-on Bonus Now Being Offered to Eligible New Hires!**
University Radiology, the largest provider of subspecialty radiology and teleradiology services in NJ, is comprised of over 200 Board Certified radiologists with advanced U.S.-based training and expertise in all modalities and all subspecialty areas. In operation for more than 60 years, University Radiology staffs, manages and provides preliminary and final subspecialty interpretations and consultative support for hospitals, imaging centers and other medical facilities, and serves as the academic radiology faculty at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Our physicians interpret over 2.1 million radiology procedures per year.
Responsibilities
University Radiology is looking for a full time Mammo/X-Ray Technologist for our Metuchen, NJ imaging office.
Monday - Friday 9:00am to 5:30pm and Saturday when required
*May be required to perform duties in or near areas containing specialized imaging equipment and must be able to adhere to all department and facility safety protocols.
We will train registered X-Ray techs who are interested in Mammo that are willing to complete the 40 hour course and get their Mammo certification within 12 months of date of hire.
University Radiology will reimburse for exam and certification costs. (eligible for $2,000 sign-on bonus)
**Applicants must be ARRT(M) certified to be eligible for a $10K sign-on bonus

  • ARRT (R)(M)
  • 2+ years of current diagnostic 3D mammography experience
  • NJ State License and CPR certification

Pay Range:
From $40/hr
The rate provided is based on industry standards for candidates with 0 - 5 years of experience. Salary determinations will be made based on numerous factors including but not limited to years of experience, education and operational needs.
