Job description

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to support our facility operations by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring production systems run efficiently. This role works closely with production teams to minimize downtime and maintain a safe, organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive maintenance on facility equipment, including vacuum glass lifters, silicone pumps, and production machinery
  • Maintain and repair equipment both in the shop and on the production floor
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues by observing performance and diagnosing problems
  • Respond to maintenance calls and complete tasks assigned by the supervisor
  • Conduct monthly safety inspections across assigned areas of the facility
  • Perform minor facility repairs (drywall, painting, etc.)
  • Complete basic electrical repairs in office areas (LED bulbs, drivers, etc.)
  • Minimize downtime by completing preventive maintenance and repairing malfunctions promptly
  • Coordinate maintenance schedules with production planning
  • Repair and rebuild parts using machining capabilities
  • Manage maintenance supplies by tracking inventory, ordering, and verifying materials
  • Maintain a safe work environment by following company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Train production operators on proper equipment use and basic maintenance
  • Stay current on technical knowledge and best practices
  • Support overall production and maintenance goals as needed
Skills & Abilities
  • Knowledge of LEAN principles and 5S practices
  • Experience with robotics and automation (preferred)
  • Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
  • Ability to work independently and complete tasks with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to company policies
  • Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
