New Horizons Healthcare (NHH) is seeking a fulltime Dentist providing quality comprehensive dental care services for the patients of NHH, within the scope of services as established by the clinic. New Horizons Healthcare is a federally qualified health center (FQHC) in Roanoke, Virginia that provides comprehensive primary care, behavioral health, dental care, and pharmacy services for almost 10,000 patients annually. What You will Do:
  • Supervision of preventive clinical services
  • Provision of emergency clinical services
  • Restorative clinical services
  • Diagnosis of dental and oral diseases
  • Provision of multi-disciplinary consultation to NHH providers across the organization.
What We are Looking For:
  • License to practice dentistry in the state of VA.
  • Graduate of formal accredited school of dentistry.
  • Working knowledge of the diagnosis and treatment of dental and oral diseases.
  • Working knowledge of the principles, standard practices, methods, and techniques of dentistry.
  • Working knowledge of preventive dentistry and educational methodologies utilized in prevention.
  • Skill in oral operative techniques.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients and staff.
