Position Title: Senior Software Developer (multiple positions)
Job Location: 500 11th Avenue N, Suite 850, Nashville, TN 37203
100% remote/telecommuting position, if within 100 miles of Nashville, TN
Salary: $103,334.00/year
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
Summary of Duties:
  • Design, develop, and maintain the software products offered by HealthStream in accordance with technology best practices and product offerings.
  • Work with team leaders and product managers to understand and refine requirements.
  • Train and mentor junior development staff in technology best practices and product requirements.
  • Design and estimate effort of new features or sub-systems from business concept to detailed technical design.
  • Develop quality, defect-free software that adheres to company coding and documentation standards.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering (any), Analytics (any), Telecom, Electrical/Electronics, Business (any), Management (any), or a related field of study AND Three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained. Must also have demonstrated experience with the following: Web-based applications using .NET (MVC/WebForms/Core), C#, Microsoft SQL Server, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Angular JS, jQuery, Azure Dev Ops, Visual Studio, SQL querying and performance tuning, DevOps practices and automation, SOLID Development Principles, Object-oriented Design Patterns, Code refactoring, and Agile project management, ideally focused on SCRUM or Kanban.
