Position: Inventory Team Leader
Department: Finance/Warehouse/Material Management
Job Summary:
Under the general supervision of the Warehouse Manager/Director, performs lead inventory duties supporting the department and to the department as a member of management.
Duties and Responsibilities (specific areas of responsibility, include but are not limited to):
  • Performs the duties of Inventory Clerk.
  • Inputs invoices into the SWS (inventory/purchasing) system as needed.
  • Coordinates, assigns, and inspects the work activities of an assigned group of team members.
  • Schedules and inspects the work of crews performing specialized tasks such as stocking or delivering received items.
  • Provides guidance in directing the completion of work activities.
  • Serves as a mentor and coach for assigned team members.
  • Identifies the need for major changes to warehouse inventory operations and notifies management.
  • Recommends purchases of operating supplies and equipment; assists with ensuring the warehouse inventory operation meets established standards.
  • Recommends new methods to promote efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Recommends training programs for team members; conducts some training programs.
  • Assists supervisor with administrative functions such as writing and issuing call logs and contributing to performance appraisals.
  • Assists supervisor with employee relations matters such as conducting investigations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Essential functions of the position:
  • Ability to lift up to eighty (80) pounds and transport, push, pull, and maneuver items up to 2,000 pounds using specialized equipment.
  • Must be able to sit, walk, or stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to reach high areas, stoop, pull, kneel, squat, twist, grip, and bend for duties.
  • Must be able to work at and travel to all CDS properties.
  • Must be able to follow both verbal and written directions.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment that is sometimes stressful.
  • Must be able to read, write, and effectively communicate with all guests and team members positively and professionally.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Working knowledge of warehouse inventory and receiving operations.
  • Knowledge of departmental and TGO internal control, policies, and procedures as it pertains to the warehouse. Skill in operating electric and manual pallet jacks, forklifts, and hand trucks.

  • Ability to maintain the physical stamina required, including the ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time as well as twist, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach objects above shoulder height.
  • Ability to maintain a high-level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Ability to utilize and operate personal computers, other equipment or devices related to the position.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Two (2) years of warehouse inventory and receiving experience in a gaming/hotel environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook as well as SWS purchasing/inventory software.
  • Must have a valid Arizona driver's license.
  • Must be able to work any shift, weekends, holidays, and special events, as needed.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screening in accordance with company policy.
  • Must have employment eligibility in the U.S.
  • Must be able to obtain and retain a valid gaming license/background check.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish).
