This position is located in Salt Lake City, Utah, at Primary Children's Hospital in the Department of Neurosurgery, Division of Pediatric Neurosurgery. This role involves handling complex administrative tasks, scheduling meetings, coordinating travel, and submitting reimbursements.
Responsibilities
  1. Handles administrative matters regarding day-to-day operations and procedures for multiple providers and staff
  2. Coordinates travel and reimbursement
  3. Schedules meetings via Outlook
  4. Maintains accounts and billings
  5. Coordinates details such as purchasing activities, e-PR's, document control, account coding for financial transactions and overseeing the maintenance of departmental records.
  6. Reviews changes in university policy, federal regulations and contractual requirements and coordinates implementation procedures.
  7. Scan's documents in EHR

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience). Three years experience that includes specific involvement in maintaining complex financial records, developing and monitoring departmental budgets and preparing related reports; and demonstrated organizational, human relation and effective communication skills.
This position is patient-sensitive and must fulfill all associated requirements.
