Saint Luke's Marion Bloch Neuroscience Institute in Kansas City, MO is seeking a dedicated BC/BE epileptologist to join our growing team. This outpatient position offers a unique opportunity to focus on epilepsy care, with access to state-of-the-art facilities and a collaborative environment.

About the position:

  • The physician's primary focus will be on epilepsy, with opportunities to manage and treat a diverse range of patients

  • On-call responsibilities are shared among the neurologists, which provides a balanced lifestyle in addition to the support of Advanced Practice Providers

  • Full access to our EMU for comprehensive patient monitoring and EEG interpretation as well as a fully integrated Epic EMR

  • Join our team during an exciting time as we actively build our epilepsy surgery program; collaborate closely with our highly trained functional neurosurgeons to offer advanced surgical options for patients

  • Saint Luke's Hospital is the primary teaching hospital for the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) Medical School; opportunity for academic appointment through UMKC, commensurate with level of experience

  • The neurology residency program provides 12 residents educational opportunities in all of the Neuroscience Institute's comprehensive treatment centers

The Neuroscience Institute's multispecialty team provides the latest minimally invasive spinal surgical techniques to treat acute and chronic back pain. It has a fellowship-trained neurosurgery team with subspecialties ranging from asleep deep brain stimulation (DBS) surgery to treating skull-based tumors and everything in between.
