What is a neuropsychology intern?

Neuropsychology interns are graduate students or early career professionals who are undergoing supervised training in the field of neuropsychology. They work under licensed neuropsychologists to assess, diagnose, and help treat patients with neurological, cognitive, and behavioral disorders. Their responsibilities often include conducting neuropsychological assessments, writing reports, and participating in case conferences. This internship is a critical step in gaining the experience and skills needed for licensure and independent practice as a neuropsychologist.

What responsibilities can a neuropsychology intern typically expect during their internship?
