Neuco is seeking a Mechanic to join our team! Mechanics perform maintenance, diagnosis, and repairs on cars, trucks, off-road equipment, and small tools in a safe, efficient, quality-minded, and customer focused manner.
What You'll Do
  • Maintenance and repair of small engines, both gas and diesel
  • Perform preventative maintenance work, such as checking oil and fluid levels on all equipment
  • Maintain inventory records on repairs made, parts ordered, and part inventories
  • Coordinate work with operations and maintains communication for scheduling repairs and PMs
  • Provide after-hours support for critical timelines when needed
  • Diagnose and correct electrical problems
  • Use of pneumatic tools for construction equipment
  • Perform other tasks as requested by leadership

What You'll Have
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • General knowledge of construction related equipment
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Existing CDL or ability/willingness to obtain Class A CDL

Work Environment
  • Work sites are outdoors in potentially extreme weather conditions
  • All worksite safety instructions are written and spoken in English; must be fluent in English
  • Work includes prolonged and repeated: lifting (including overhead, up to 50lbs); standing; climbing; kneeling; reaching and feeling; crouching and crawling
  • Flexibility to work various schedules and stay late when necessary with little or no notice
  • Work is performed within the "red zone" of heavy equipment
  • Working safely requires quick/accurate hand-eye coordination and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner

Legal Stuff
  • Pass pre-employment, random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion drug screens
  • Provide valid US work authorization documents for E-Verify
  • Satisfactory results of pre-employment background check results
  • Pre-employment medical fit-for-duty test; hold/obtain DOT medical card
