As the Manager of Networking and Connectivity, you will lead and develop a highly skilled technical team supporting critical networking, connectivity, and virtual environment capabilities across the North America Power & Water Solutions organization. This position blends people leadership, technical oversight, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure reliable, secure, and innovative network and connectivity solutions that enable project execution and business growth.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Manage and prioritize work for a network engineering and connectivity support team, aligning resources to project needs and business priorities.
  • Lead systems network support activities, including tracking project requests, supporting proposal inquiries, and identifying opportunities for process improvement, knowledge sharing, and team development.
  • Collaborate closely with product development partners to align networking needs, share technical expertise, and contribute to broader enterprise networking initiatives.
  • Oversee connectivity support activities, including coordination with cost-effective resources, development of tools and documentation, and guidance on data link offerings.
  • Manage the Ovation Project Virtual Environment to ensure schedules, deliverables, and priorities are met while continuously improving procedures to enhance productivity and quality.
  • Support virtual systems management activities, including maintenance and emerging requests, and oversee coordination and accountability for vFAT areas.
  • Provide oversight and prioritization for SharePoint environments used in project execution, ensuring effective support and alignment with project timelines.
  • Lead project support activities at the North America headquarters and foster a collaborative, inclusive team culture focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related science disciplines, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience with control system engineering, project management, and/or power and water plant operations
  • Working knowledge of network configuration, virtual systems, data communications, and project support
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
  • Familiarity with Ovation systems, virtualized project environments, or large-scale industrial networks
  • Demonstrated success in developing team members through coaching, mentoring, or technical leadership
  • Exposure to SharePoint or similar collaboration platforms used in engineering or project execution settings
