HOW A NETWORK MANAGER III WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Manages the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running on one or more operating systems
Leverage lead level of experience on military networks as specified in the task order.
Manage networks with industry standard platforms, Network Performance Analysis, Cisco IOS Network Configuration, and Network Troubleshooting.
Establish new circuit requirements.
Provide a lead level of experience in design, maintenance, and operation of medium to large networks.
Meet the certification requirement of DoW 8570.01-M or as otherwise stated in SPIN-C or individual task order.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education:

Technical Training: Lead level of experience in design, maintenance, and operation of medium to large networks. Must have experience in systems management, monitoring and sustainment.

Certifications: CCNP or Higher and a Security Certification

Experience: 5+ yrs Routing & Switching, 2 yrs Wireless; 1+ years related experience

Required Technical Skills: Maintain organization's computer systems' workflows
Security Clearance Level: SECRET
Required Skills and Abilities: Evaluate existing systems and assist with planning long-term strategies
Preferred Skills: Perform basic software installations & upgrades to OS & layered software packages
Location: On Customer Site

CERTIFICATIONS:

Must meet the certification requirement of DoW 8570.01-M or otherwise stated in SPIN-C or individual task order. The contractor is expected to have, but is not limited to, the following IT certificate:

Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA)

Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) - RS or Datacenter

GENERAL EXPERIENCE:

Lead level of experience in design, maintenance, and operation of medium to large networks. Must have experience in systems management, monitoring and sustainment.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:

Must have lead level of experience on military networks as specified in the task order to include:

Cisco routing and switching technologies

Managing networks with industry standard platforms, Network Performance Analysis, Cisco IOS Network Configuration, and Network Troubleshooting

Establishing new circuit requirements

Documenting network enterprise, developing continuity folders, and as built drawings

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $33.97 - $0.00. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
