Overview:
Role: Senior Network Engineer - Data Center & Cloud Networking
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide Level 3 design, engineering, implementation, and support for Cloud and Data Center Network Engineering teams.
  • Work with Azure Networking, routing, Meraki, and Fortigate technologies.
  • Perform advanced Data Center network design, implementation, and troubleshooting including:
    • CLOS L3 Spine/Leaf architecture
    • VxLAN BGP EVPN
    • MLAG / vPC / MEC
  • Design, implement, and troubleshoot Palo Alto, Cisco Nexus, and Arista routing & switching environments.
  • Review business requirements with Network Architects and Engineering teams.
  • Create High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents, including traffic flow diagrams and cabling matrices.
  • Develop implementation plans, validation procedures, and backout strategies.
  • Manage change requests and implementation processes through ServiceNow.
  • Coordinate with project teams to schedule implementation windows and network changes.
  • Perform post-implementation validation, verification, and performance testing.

Primary Skillsets Required:
  • Enterprise hands-on experience with Cisco, Arista, and Palo Alto design, deployment, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong expertise in VxLAN BGP EVPN multi-vendor environments.
  • Advanced knowledge of BGP and data center routing architectures.
  • Hands-on experience with CLOS L3 Spine/Leaf data center topology.
  • Experience with management tools such as Cisco NDFC/Nexus Dashboard, Arista CloudVision Portal, and Palo Alto Panorama.
  • Experience with observability tools like Gigamon, Live Action, Arista DMF, and Viavi.
  • Experience working with DC/Transport providers such as Equinix Fabric, Megaport, Bare Metal, MVE/MCR, and AT&T TAOS.
  • Understanding and hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts.

Preferred Certifications:
  • Cisco CCNP Enterprise
  • Arista DC ACE (L5/L7)
  • Palo Alto Network Security Professional
