This leader will oversee the architecture, automation, modernization, and lifecycle management of enterprise networking platforms, including SD-WAN, wireless, routing and switching, DNS, load balancing, and network security services across hybrid and cloud environments. The role is instrumental in advancing cloud-native networking strategies, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), observability, automation, and GenAI/Agentic AI-driven operational capabilities to improve stability, scalability, efficiency, and speed of execution.

The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strong business and leadership acumen, demonstrating the ability to influence strategy, lead globally distributed teams, manage large-scale operational and capital budgets and deliver complex transformational programs in fast-paced enterprise environments.

What You'll Do:
  • Lead Enterprise Network Strategy.Oversee the architecture, engineering, and lifecycle management of SD-WAN, LAN/WAN, wireless, DNS, load balancing, and network security services across retail and corporate environments.
  • Drive Automation & AI Innovation.Advance Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation frameworks, and GenAI/Agentic AI-driven operational capabilities to improve efficiency, self-healing, and service resiliency.
  • Manage Financial Planning.Own CAPEX and OPEX budgeting, forecasting, vendor management, and cost optimization aligned to business priorities.
  • Develop Strategic Roadmaps.Shape modernization plans for cloud networking, wireless transformation, retail infrastructure resiliency, and operational automation.
  • Lead Cross-Functional Partnerships.Collaborate with Security, Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure, Retail Technology, and Digital teams to deliver scalable, highly available solutions.
  • Oversee Incident & Change Governance.Direct major incident response, problem management, change governance, and operational readiness for mission-critical retail and enterprise services.
What You'll Bring:
  • 15+ years of progressive network engineering experiencein retail or large-scale enterprise environments, including hands-on expertise with SD-WAN, routing/switching, wireless, and network security platforms.
  • 5-10 years of leadership experiencemanaging global onshore and offshore engineering teams, with a demonstrated ability to lead high-performing organizations and drive accountability and innovation.
  • Deep technical expertiseacross VMware SD-WAN (VeloCloud), Cisco, HPE/Aruba, Palo Alto, and multi-cloud networking (Azure, GCP, OCI), with hands-on IaC and AIOps platform experience.
  • Proven financial acumenin managing large-scale CAPEX and OPEX budgets within complex enterprise environments.
  • Strong executive communication skillswith the ability to influence strategy and align technology initiatives to business outcomes across cross-functional stakeholders.

What You’ll Get:

The target hourly pay for this position is $205,200.00- $228,000.00. The actual hourly pay offered depends on various factors, which may include, as applicable, the individual applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses. This job will be posted for a minimum of 5 days.
