Performs analytical work to support the various business needs of the DHL Express Air Network. The Network Planning Sr Specialist assists in the design & implementation of new air routes throughout the region, in addition to supporting their improved utilization.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze network, operational, and financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities and provide actionable recommendations that support business objectives.
  • Develop business cases, forecasts, network change proposals, and performance analyses to support strategic decision-making and network optimization initiatives.
  • Evaluate the operational, service, and financial impacts of proposed network changes and support the successful implementation of approved initiatives.
  • Create, maintain, and enhance reports, dashboards, and performance metrics used by management and key stakeholders to monitor network performance and drive decision-making.
  • Partner with Aviation, Operations, Hubs, Gateways, Finance, and regional teams to ensure recommendations are operationally feasible and aligned with business objectives.
  • Communicate analytical findings, recommendations, and project updates clearly and effectively to stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
  • Independently manage assigned analyses, projects, and initiatives from concept through implementation, proactively identifying risks, resolving issues, and ensuring deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
  • Monitor the results of implemented initiatives and continuously identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting capabilities, operational performance, and network efficiency.
  • Support strategic planning activities, special projects, and the development of best practices across the Network Planning organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in data analytics, logistics, transportation, supply chain, network planning, or a related field.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with large datasets.
  • Experience with reporting, forecasting, and business analysis.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts within a 24-hour period. 

Ancillary Qualifications:

  • Power BI, SQL, Python, or similar analytical tools are considered an asset.
