What You'll Do
As a Certified Medical Assistant at BHN you will provide direct care and daily support to individuals in treatment for substance use disorders. Responsibilities include:
  • Take vital signs
  • Assist with intake assessments and medical histories
  • Monitor patients for withdrawal symptoms or changes in condition
  • Update medical records and patient charts
  • Encourage a safe, supportive and therapeutic environment
Who You Are
  • High School Diploma or GED (required).
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) (strongly preferred).
  • Completion of a Certified Medical Assistant course or equivalent (required).
  • Prior experience in a hospital, behavioral health, or recovery setting (preferred).
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
  • Compassionate, dependable, and committed to supporting individuals in recovery.

Pay: $25.00 per hour
