Job Description
The Network Architect I is an early-career architecture role responsible for supporting the design, documentation, and implementation of enterprise network solutions under the direction of a Senior Network Architect. This role contributes to network modernization initiatives across on-premises, cloud, and edge environments, assisting with solution design, standards documentation, and technology evaluation while developing architectural expertise.
Responsibilities
Architecture & Design Support
  • Assist in developing network architecture designs across campus, data center, WAN, and cloud environments.
  • Contribute to reference architectures, standards, and design documentation.
  • Support architecture reviews led by senior architects.

Engineering & Project Support
  • Collaborate with engineering teams during implementation and delivery phases.
  • Assist with solution designs for network refresh, cloud connectivity, and NAC initiatives.
  • Contribute to low-level designs under architectural guidance.

Security & Reliability
  • Support secure and resilient network designs including segmentation and access control.
  • Assist with Network Access Control solutions including Cisco ISE and Aruba ClearPass.

Modern Networking & Development
  • Participate in automation, cloud networking, and modernization initiatives
  • Maintain awareness of emerging networking technologies.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 4-6 years of enterprise network engineering experience.
  • Strong understanding of routing, switching, and networking fundamentals.
