A Network Systems professional needs a solid understanding of networking principles, protocols, and infrastructure, often supported by a degree in computer science or information technology. Familiarity with network management tools, firewalls, routers, switches, and certifications like Cisco's CCNA or CompTIA Network+ is typically required.
