Job Description:
• Deployment and Operations of the network hardware in the IT infrastructure. It includes new implementations, expansion, and support of NX-OS (N2K, N3K, N5K, N7K, and N9K), IOS Catalyst (3850, 9500, and 9300) switches, routers, Load Balancers and Firewalls in Data Centers.
• Working on Routing Protocols (EIGRP, BGP, IS-IS) and Switching Protocols (STP, RSTP) as part of implementations and operations.
• Engage in ON-CALL rotation, which needs working on priority-1 and priority-2 cases in real-time providing immediate solutions to the issues impacting the live production
• Successfully deployed new ASA Firewalls dedicated to ACI infrastructure in multiple data center locations.
• Experience on load balancing strategies/techniques, expertise in application switching/traffic management, knowledge of persistence and SSL certificates
• Providing the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implementing Long term fix for the problems and discuss about the solutions to the team.
• Perform code upgrades to the network switches and routers in the cisco infrastructure to overcome vulnerabilities/bugs and maintain the standards.
• Configured new ACI Fabrics in the Cisco Infrastructure from building of the APIC controllers, Spines and leaf architecture and have prepared detailed documentation on this.
• Strong experience in a medium/ large scale enterprise networks & 5+ years of relevant experience
• Network and security knowledge on Cisco products (routing, switching and firewalls).
• Strong network troubleshooting skills from layer 1-7.
• Experience with enterprise grade load balancers (e.g. F5 ) and Cisco Access Points
• Experience working on monitoring tools SolarWinds Orion NCM and NPM, Aruba.
• Experience with ACI / F5 Load balancer is a must
• Should have worked on DC network documentation and related processes.
• Should have experience in handling data center network related incidents within defined SLA's.
• Must have working knowledge and experience defining and engineering VoIP, SIP, andor IMS based services
• Residential telephone services are built using IMS and VoIP components
• Installation, configuration and strong troubleshooting experience in Cisco devices Experience in Voice, WAN, Wireless & Site Networks maintenance Datacenter support
• Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations.
• Provide Level- 2/ 3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues within SLA.
Must have Experience in the following technologies
o Cisco Routers & Switches
o Cisco WIFI
o F5 Load Balancer
o Palo Alto Firewall & Cisco ASA Firewall
o WAN Optimizers
o Cisco VOIP
• Certifications : CCNA & CCNP is preferred
Experience in automation using ansible, python is plus.
