Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain security controls that protect the organization's network infrastructure. This role will focus on securing enterprise networks through the effective management of firewalls, VPN technologies, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and cloud security solutions.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with modern security technologies, strong knowledge of network protocols, and the ability to identify and mitigate security threats in complex environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage network security solutions to protect enterprise infrastructure.

  • Configure and maintain next-generation firewalls, VPN solutions, and IDS/IPS systems.

  • Monitor network traffic and security events to identify potential threats, vulnerabilities, and suspicious activity.

  • Investigate and respond to security incidents, ensuring timely remediation and documentation.

  • Implement and support Zero Trust security models and multi-factor authentication (MFA) solutions.

  • Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and security teams to strengthen the overall security posture.

  • Support the security of cloud environments including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).

  • Ensure adherence to security frameworks and compliance standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC 2.

  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and support remediation initiatives.

Required Skills

  • Strong experience with network security technologies and architecture.

  • Hands-on expertise with Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, or Check Point firewall platforms.

  • Deep understanding of network protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, SSL/TLS, and routing fundamentals.

  • Experience with SIEM tools and security monitoring solutions.

  • Knowledge of threat detection, vulnerability management, and incident response processes.

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in network security, cybersecurity, or related security engineering roles.

Preferred Certifications

  • CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)

  • CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker)

  • CCNP Security
