What are we looking for?

The Project Coordinator is responsible for writing quotes for new work.  

Shift/Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8-5

What you'll do:

  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Write, process and send quotes for testing services
  • Follow up on quotes until they are resolved
  • Initiate project coordination with the lab upon receipt of signed proposal
  • Request additional documentation as needed (e.g. drawings, PO, installation details, material handling/curing requirements, etc.)
  • Works collaboratively with others internally to develop quotes
  • Performs other work as required

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 3 years' experience directly related with customer service and/or sales
  • Computer proficiency, including MS Word, MS Excel, and Adobe Pro

  • Strong customer service and communication skills (written and oral)
  • Must be technically competent to understand and communicate test procedures, specifications, and results
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities
  • Competence in math, science and critical thinking skills, able to identify and question illogical scenarios 

Preferred Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Degree in a technical field
  • General knowledge of laboratory testing 

  • Experience/knowledge of construction and manufacturing industries

  • Familiarity with consensus standards (ASTM, ANSI, ...)
