Job Description
Our client is seeking a skilled Network Engineer to design, implement, and support the enterprise network and server infrastructure. This role plays a critical part in ensuring system reliability, cybersecurity, and operational excellence.
This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, mission-driven environment focused on community, innovation, and long-term growth. The ideal candidate is technically strong, proactive, and thrives in a collaborative setting.
Responsibilities
  • Design, deploy, and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, wireless systems, and firewalls
  • Monitor and troubleshoot network performance, connectivity, and reliability issues
  • Manage enterprise servers (physical and virtual), SAN storage, and backup systems
  • Conduct cybersecurity assessments and implement risk mitigation strategies
  • Maintain disaster recovery processes and infrastructure documentation
Qualifications and Requirements
Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • CCNA certification
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in network engineering environments
  • Experience with enterprise firewalls, wireless networks, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), SANs, and backup systems
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity, data protection, and disaster recovery
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background checks
Preferred:
  • Additional technical certifications
  • Experience with network monitoring tools and performance tuning
  • Familiarity with QoS and enterprise-level infrastructure optimization
