Payabli is a next-generation Payments Infrastructure and Monetization Platform purpose-built for vertical software companies. Through a single, developer-friendly API with low-code embedded payment components, Payabli enables platforms to seamlessly embed, monetize, and operationalize payments, making payments a core part of their platform and business model.

By unifying payment acceptance, payment issuance, and advanced payment operations tooling, Payabli empowers software companies to manage and move money through a single infrastructure stack that delivers total control over the payments experience. Built to scale with PCI DSS 4.0 and SOC 2-compliant security, Payabli’s infrastructure delivers enterprise-grade reliability and trust while leveraging AI-driven intelligence to enhance visibility, streamline operations, and drive revenue growth.

Backed by leading fintech investors including QED Investors, Fika Ventures, TTV Capital, and Bling Capital, Payabli is setting the standard for embedded payments infrastructure powering the next generation of vertical SaaS.

The Operations Project Manager at Payabli is a high-impact operations role where you will have the ability to directly influence business performance and Payabli's most strategic accounts. You'll lead and support various processes and projects surrounding partner and merchant onboarding, implementation and revenue activation. You can expect to collaborate with teammates across Customer Success, Implementation, Engineering, Product, Sales, Risk and Finance to drive operational efficiency and customer throughput.

In this Operations Project Manager role, you will

  • Develop deep relationships with a portfolio of large and enterprise-level integration partners during and after implementation, gaining a thorough understanding of their business and industry.

  • Regularly attend, and when applicable lead, meetings with partners, merchants and internal stakeholders.

  • Lead onboarding and configuration of sub-merchants and strategic merchant partners.

  • Work with the Integrations team to coordinate and develop unique processes, onboarding efforts and configurations for large-scale partnerships.

  • Support the Underwriting team with the collection of merchant applications, supporting documentation and applicant follow-up to improve onboarding velocity.

  • Deploy AI agents and automations to scale and improve the precision of your work and our customers' payments business.

  • Work with integration partners to develop and manage onboarding templates, ensure proper partner and merchant pricing inputs, and execute bulk onboarding strategies.

  • Closely collaborate with the Operations team and Partner Success Managers to orchestrate the execution of all daily, weekly and monthly tasks.

  • Supplement the daily tasks of others on the Operations and Client Success teams where necessary.

  • Report weekly on key performance indicators related to the success of tasks and assigned accounts.

  • Partner with the Product team to develop further automations that increase the accuracy and efficiency of enterprise-level tasks, including product enhancement and UI/UX improvement suggestions.

  • Roll up your sleeves to get things done in a fast-moving, ever-changing startup environment and do whatever it takes to make this the journey of a lifetime!

We'd love to hear from you if you

  • Have 3–5 years of prior experience in implementation, customer onboarding or project management at high-growth startups, Payments and Fintech experience is a big plus!

  • Have a strong bias for action, where tasks are completed daily and not deferred to tomorrow.

  • Are intellectually curious and constantly self-learning and improving.

  • Have a strong technical aptitude and working knowledge of software and APIs, and can troubleshoot issues and speak to platform dynamics.

  • Are very detail-oriented and structured, yet work with a strong sense of urgency in the setup and activation of customers, with strong project management skills.

  • Have proficiency in Claude, Zapier, n8n, Postman and other AI tools to develop and deploy agents and automations.

  • Are a resourceful self-starter who can self-manage time and constantly changing priorities, and take ownership of processes in your domain.

  • Possess a strong work ethic and are willing to put in the extra time and effort to make an impact in building a category-leading business.

  • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to be confident, influential and empathetic with partners, customers and colleagues.

  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment where you will juggle many complex projects simultaneously.

  • Have an innate sense of humility and intellectual honesty, with an open mind for feedback.

We think you'll love being part of our team because

At Payabli, you'll have a front row seat into building a high-growth venture backed fintech company. As a senior leader in Operations, you'll shape how the organization scales and be the driving force behind our AI-first operations strategy, directly influencing how we build, automate, and optimize for the future. You'll stretch yourself every day, learn a ton, grow alongside the company, and have a lot of fun building Payabli with us. We're a values driven company that cares deeply about our team, partners, and customers. Our north star values are:

Team Love = Customer Love — You understand that when you build great products for your internal partners, they deliver exceptional experiences to merchants. You obsess over the platform partners and businesses that depend on every payout landing on time.

Run to the Fire — When ACH returns spike or a card program hits a snag, you're the first one in the war room. You don't shy away from hard problems, you chase them. You volunteer for the complex, messy challenges others avoid.

Little Things Count — You sweat the details because you know a single decimal error in a payout can damage a business. You double-check edge cases, validate every assumption, and understand that excellence lives in the details.

Truth Seekers — You give direct feedback, receive it with grace, and never let ego get in the way of finding the right answer. You document what you don't know, admit mistakes quickly, and hold yourself accountable in the open.

Relentlessly Curious — You're constantly asking "what if?" and "why not?" You study how competitors solve problems, explore adjacent industries for inspiration, and never stop learning about the payments ecosystem.

We build technology that gets noticed and a workplace where people want to grow their careers.. Our work has been recognized by some of the industry’s most respected organizations, including the 2026 Forbes Fintech 50 list, which highlights the most innovative private companies in financial technology, Inc.’s 2025 Best Workplaces, and Built In’s 2026 Best Places to Work in Miami.
