Job description

Purpose
Provides program leadership that directly supports the success of the Field Sales Team, Retail Leaders, Retail Partners and Save A Lot stores. These programs range from new program design to operational support for various Retail teams. A Retail Operations Project Lead must be organized, efficient and able to communicate and execute a project's scope, purpose and outcomes to stakeholders and leadership. This role requires cross-functional collaboration with departments throughout the Save A Lot business to design effective solutions to key business opportunities and deliver measurable results. The Retail Operations Project Lead will foster relationships and effective communication with teams across Save A Lot to successfully execute all aspects of store support and assistance using various tools and resources.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as Program Lead for Save A Lot's Customer Care program, managing day-to-day customer feedback workflows, engaging cross-functional teams for support and maintaining organization and operation of support platforms.
  • Serve as program lead for other retail support programs such as the Save A Lot field driver program, mystery shop program and customer review management. Support these programs through maintaining relationships with third party vendors, reviewing execution and updating leadership on performance on regular cadences.
  • Track, analyze, and report key performance indicators (KPIs), providing leadership with updates on program performance, field priorities, and project progress.
  • Manage cross-functional projects and initiatives, ensuring timelines, deliverables, communications, and business objectives are successfully achieved.
  • Identify and drive process improvements and operational efficiencies that enhance support for retail teams and improve overall program effectiveness.
  • Build and maintain strong internal and external partnerships to support strategic initiatives, resolve issues, and optimize organizational performance.
  • Perform additional projects and responsibilities as assigned by Retail Operations Leadership.

About You
  • Bachelor's degree required in business, management or related field
  • 3-5 years business experience in retail operations, project lead experience preferred
  • Ability to follow project methodology and deliver measurable outcomes
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent assignments/projects and effectively prioritize efforts
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills, strong customer focus and demonstrated ability to work in geographically dispersed teams
  • Must have strong computer skills and be proficient in use of Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of retail operations and store operating procedures (Save A Lot/Limited assortment discount retail specific experience preferred)
  • Interpersonal skills to build rapport, network, communicate and maintain effective business relationships within and outside the company

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to travel up to ~10% of the time, which may include weekends and evenings, as needed
  • Most work is performed in a temperature-controlled environment
  • Incumbent may sit for long periods of time at a desk or computer terminal
  • Incumbent may use calculators, keyboards, telephone and other office equipment in the course of a normal workday
  • Stooping, bending, twisting and reaching may be required in completion of job duties
