Reporting to the Sr. Manager, End User Services, As the Network Operations Lead you are a trusted advisor to senior leadership, influencing decisions and driving standardization, innovation, and enterprise network strategy. In this role you will provide operational leadership, to drive continuous improvement of Ledcor's enterprise network and communications environment, including LAN/WAN, wireless, VPN, Azure networking services, and Fortinet-based security solutions. As a subject matter expert with advanced knowledge, you will provide leadership and direction ensuring Ledcor's network services are secure, resilient, scalable, and aligned with business and technology objectives.
Partnering with Network Engineers, infrastructure architects, cybersecurity teams, cloud teams, vendors, and business stakeholders, the Network Operations Lead will lead the resolution of multifaceted incidents, deliver root cause analysis, and drive improvement initiatives that enhance network performance, reliability, security, and operational maturity. Providing functional leadership and direction to Network Engineers, guiding the execution of business strategies and goals.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Sr. Manager, End User Services to develop and execute enterprise network operations strategies, governance frameworks, and operational standards aligned with business, security, resiliency, and technology objectives
  • Provide strategic and technical leadership to ensure the performance, availability, reliability, and continuous improvement of enterprise network and communications infrastructure
  • Analyze network performance, service trends, operational risks, and emerging technologies to influence priorities, strategy, and long-term operational resilience
  • Lead network operations processes, including incident, problem, change, and service restoration management, while driving operational excellence and service maturity
  • Provide technical leadership for enterprise networking services, including LAN/WAN, wireless, VPN, Azure networking, Fortinet security solutions, and enterprise connectivity services
  • Direct vendor, ISP, telecommunications, and partner relationships, ensuring reliable connectivity, effective service delivery, and strong operational performance
  • Develop, implement, and maintain network standards, documentation, monitoring, governance, and operational procedures to support consistent service delivery
  • Lead the resolution of complex network challenges, driving automation, continuous improvement, and scalable solutions that enhance stability, security, and operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable network services aligned with organizational priorities

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in enterprise network operations, infrastructure support, and IT service management
  • Minimum 6 years of experience leading network operations teams in complex enterprise environments
  • Minimum 5 years of experience supporting enterprise network architecture, connectivity services, cloud networking, and security solutions
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing ISP, telecommunications, and third-party vendor relationships
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in incident, problem, and change management, governance, and continuous service improvement
  • Minimum 5 years of experience supporting hybrid cloud environments, Azure networking, enterprise integrations, and business-critical network services
  • Strong technical expertise in firewalls, SD-WAN, secure connectivity, Fortinet technologies (including FortiGate), and cloud networking solutions
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop technical teams while building effective relationships with vendors, service providers, and stakeholders
  • Excellent communication, analytical, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills, with the ability to translate technical issues into business impacts and recommendations
