Emergent Technologies Inc. is seeking highly skilled Network Engineers to support a mission-critical government customer under TO2. These roles are vital to the customerโ€™s next-generation network architecture and GNOC (Global Network Operations Center) monitoring operations.
We are looking for candidates with deep expertise in one or both of the following areas:
  • VERSA SD-WAN technology โ€“ foundational to the customerโ€™s evolving network infrastructure
  • SNMP integration and systems support โ€“ critical for network visibility, monitoring, and automated operations
Open Skillsets Needed

1. Network Engineer โ€“ VERSA SD-WAN Focus

  • Proven experience with VERSA Networks SD-WAN solutions
  • Experience designing, deploying, and managing SD-WAN configurations in a large enterprise or government environment
  • Familiarity with VERSA Director, Analytics, and Controller components
  • Strong understanding of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), VPNs, and network security
  • Ability to support SD-WAN migration, policy creation, and performance optimization
2. Network Engineer โ€“ SNMP / Network Monitoring Focus

  • Deep experience with SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol)

  • Experience integrating SNMP-enabled devices into NMS tools (SolarWinds, NetMRI, Spectrum, etc.)
  • Ability to configure SNMP for device monitoring, traps, and polling
  • Knowledge of MIBs, OIDs, and custom SNMP scripting
  • Familiarity with supporting GNOC and network monitoring environments

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to systems integration
General Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in a technical field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum of 11 years of relevant experience in network engineering
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse technical teams
  • Ability to work full-time on-site in Herndon, VA

  • Active U.S. Government Security Clearance required
