Peraton is assembling teams for the MyFloridaNet-3 (MFN-3) Program, one of the largest statewide network modernization initiatives in the region. This program will modernize Florida's critical telecommunications backbone, supporting 22+ million residents, public safety agencies, schools, utilities, and essential government services across the state.

We are seeking experienced professionals in Network Operations, Network Security Engineering (NOC/SOC), and Project Managers and Project Coordinators to support this long-term, high-visibility program.

Roles are primarily onsite in Tampa, FL, and Herndon, VA with additional opportunities in Tallahassee, FL, and select remote positions.

This is an opportunity to work on a program where reliability, security, and performance truly matter, with real consequences, real responsibility, and real impact at statewide scale.

    • Support a 24x7x365 Network Operations Center (NOC) environment through shift-based work

    • Work hands-on with enterprise-class networking environments
    • Escalate, document, and resolve issues in accordance with SLAs and operational procedures
    • Experience with large-scale or mission-critical networks preferred
  • Security Operations Engineers (Tiers 1-3)

    • Monitor security events, perform incident response, and support vulnerability mitigation efforts
    • Apply network and cybersecurity best practices to protect enterprise environments
    • Collaborate with network, engineering, and compliance teams to maintain a secure posture
    • Experience in public sector or regulated environments is a plus
  • Network Engineers
    • Install, configure, and maintain core enterprise network infrastructure
    • Support network modernization, optimization, and ongoing operational needs
    • Demonstrate a strong understanding of enterprise network topologies and protocols
    • Work independently while collaborating across engineering and operations teams
    • Telecom or large-scale infrastructure experience preferred
  • Security Engineers
    • Install, configure, and maintain enterprise security tools and technologies
    • Support security architecture, operational requirements, and compliance standards
    • Demonstrate a strong understanding of network security technologies and frameworks
    • Partner with operations teams to ensure secure, reliable system performance
    • Experience supporting compliance-driven environments is a plus
  • Project Coordinators
    • Lead and coordinate cutovers from existing infrastructure to Peraton's network environment
    • Manage schedules, dependencies, and stakeholder communications across technical and client teams
    • Serve as a client-facing point of coordination throughout implementation phases
    • Bring strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
    • Experience supporting IT infrastructure, telecom, or network modernization projects preferred

Target Salary Range
$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
